Expiration History Report
The expiration history report shows the stock lost to expiry over a given time period. Stock is shown by lot and expiration date, with the associated value. It is important to note that this report only shows stock that has been marked as expired, or removed from stock for reason of expiry. Expired stock that is still on hand, or that was sent to another location, will not appear.
How to Run the Report
Go to the Reporting Menu>Transaction Reports> Expiration History Report

Clicking on the menu item will bring up a screen where you can set the parameters for the report.

Location: This will automatically be set based on the location you are in when you run the report
Start Date: The first date in the time period for which you want to run the report. The report will show all stock removed from inventory due to expiration on or after this date
End Date: The final date in the time period for which you want to run the report. The report will show all stock removed from inventory due to expiration on or before this date
Once you have set the parameters for the report, click "Load Table." This will load all of the relevant lines. To search within the HTML report, enter a product into the search bar. To download the report to excel, click Export.

Detailed Field Description
Transaction number: The unique code associated with the transaction that debited this stock from inventory. In the HTML version, this is a hyperlink to the transaction details.
Transaction date: The date that the stock was debited from inventory.
Code: The unique code associated with the product
Product name: The name of the product
Category: The category of the product
Lot number: The lot number of the stock that was removed from inventory
Expiration date: The expiration date of the product that was removed from inventory
Quantity lost to expiry: The quantity of that product and lot that was removed from stock due to expiry as part of that transaction
Unit Price: The unit price of the product
Value lost to expiry: The value of the stock lost to expiry for the given product, lot, and transaction. Calculated as Quantity lost to expiry * Unit Price
