Outbound Shipment Detail Page

The Outbound Shipment Detail Page provides important information about each shipment sent from a depot. In this document, we will review the different information included in the Outbound Shipment Detail Page.

  1. Detail Header: The shipment detail header provides us with basic details about the outbound shipment. It includes the Shipment code (814YZU), Shipment Name, Shipment Type (Outbound), and Shipment Status. There are four possible Shipment Statuses:
    1. Pending: When a Shipment has been created but not shipped yet.
    2. Shipped: When a Shipment has been shipped.
    3. Receiving: Part of the shipment has been received.
    4. Received: All of the shipment has been received.
  2. Quick Action Buttons: Below the header, there is a row of quick action buttons: List, Create, Edit, Receive, Rollback. It also allows easy access to upload documents and download documents relating to the outbound shipment.
  3. Detail Box: On the left-hand side of the details page, we have a details box. Any information entered when the shipment was created will be displayed here.
  4. Audit Log: Under the Details box, there is an audit log. This is a feature that needs to be activated for specific locations, so this may or may not be present for your location.
  5. Detail Page Tabs: Within the Detail page, there are four tabs that provide more specific information on the shipment.
    1. Request Details: This tab shows the items that were requested for the outbound shipment. It displays the Status, product code, Product name, and UOM. We can also see the quantity that was requested, the quantity that was approved during the outbound shipment creation process in OpenBoxes, and the quantity that has been picked and issued. If there are discrepancies between the Requested and issued quantity, the Reason codes will also be shown.
From the request details tab, we can click on the product code or the product name to go to the product details page.
    2. Packing List: This tab provides quick access to the packing list.
    3. Receipts: This tab will show associated receipts once the shipment has been received.
    4. Documents: This tab provides access to any uploaded documents or automatically created documents. To learn more about the Outbound shipment documents, please see Outbound Shipment Documents.
