Load Demo Data

When you first log into OpenBoxes, you will be presented with an option to load demo data to help you test out the system.

If you don't want to load in demo data, you can choose create your first location to be guided through the steps to add your own data into OB. Or you can select "Skip for now" to do everything on your own. If you change your mind later, you can get back into this modal by going to Configuration>Load demo data.

To load the demo data, select the load demo data option and press next. It will bring you to a page that will show you a brief summary of data to be loaded and asks you if you are sure you want to move forward. Click "proceed."

You will be redirected to a loading screen. It may take up to a minute for your data to load - don't worry, a short wait is normal. When the data is loaded, you will see a success message, and you will be redirected back to the OpenBoxes main page. You can now test out the system. 

When you are done with testing, you can follow the unloading data instructions to reset your instance and start fresh.
